If you live near a Safeway, I am sure that you have heard all about the NEW Just4U program. You’ll find it on their website here. It is being advertised left and right. This was my first shopping trip to Safeway since they updated their program and I was impressed! Total before coupons and club card: $156.41, total OOP: $52.32 + $10 Kraft Catalina, +$10 Catalina (when you spend $75 in single transaction), + $1 Del Monte Catalina + Free Milk Catalina! I can really get used to shopping like this.

New Just4U Program:

The Just4U program does several things. First, it keeps track of what items you buy the most and then selects which ones to give you discounts on, they are called personalized prices. You can also view the weekly ad, make a printable shopping list and load instant coupons for added savings.

Personalized Deals: Not everyone is going to have the same personalized deals because they are based on your individual shopping habits. You can stack personalized prices with manufacturer’s coupons for even more savings!

Just4U e-coupons: These are store coupons that are advertised in the weekly ad. You must load them to your card for the discount to be taken at the register. You can stack manufacturer’s coupons with a Just4U coupon! Unless specified by a limit, they are one-time use and the discount will come off each item you purchase in one transaction. This also means that you will not be able to get the discount Just4U price again during the ad period.

My favorite part is that they have added an iPhone and Android app. This means that you can add coupons even while in the store!
